HLTA - English, Grade 7 ,Full time, permanent based at The Hollies Pupil Referral Unit, Stafford

Teacher of Maths, Full Time, permanent, MPS - UPS + 1 SEN

The Hollies PRU is seeking to appoint a highly effective Teacher of Maths.

We are looking for an individual who:

  • will assist the head teacher to achieve the aims and objectives of the school
  • take responsibility for specified areas of the curriculum
  • promote the achievement of high standards through effective teaching and learning by preparing, evaluating and action planning to raise standards.
  • take into account and constantly review school contextual factors and prior attainment when planning and teaching lessons in Maths.
  • be committed to our inclusive ethos, paying regard to the provision of personalisation for pupils.
  • contribute, where appropriate, to implementing policies and practice and to promoting collective responsibility for their implementation.
  • be a team member enhancing learning and developing teaching styles
  • is committed to challenging pupils behavior to improve outcomes
  • has a caring, friendly and professional nature with children and adults
  • has a flexible and professional approach to work
  • is a highly resilient individual
  • can create a stimulating environment which facilitates high quality learning

It is not necessary to have SEN / behaviour experience but successful teachers with a real enthusiasm to work with our pupils are encouraged to apply.

This role would suit an ambitious and committed teacher at an early stage in their career who wishes to gain experience in this area. However, experienced teachers are also encouraged to apply.
